National Chief Medical Officer, St Vincents Health Australia
Chris commenced as National Chief Medical Officer of St Vincent’s Health Australia in 2026, bringing extensive experience in clinical leadership, digital health, and health system transformation. Prior to joining St Vincent’s, Chris served as Chief Medical Officer, Customer at Medibank, where he led the development of innovative models of care to improve mental health services, expand access to chronic disease prevention, and enhance surgical outcomes. Chris was also Medical Director at Eucalyptus, one of Australia’s largest digital health providers, contributing to the delivery of digitally enabled care at scale. Chris previously held the role of Executive Director of Innovation and Improvement at St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney, where he led major innovation initiatives across service optimisation, telehealth, and virtual care, and played a key leadership role in the organisation’s COVID-19 response.
As National Chief Medical Officer, Chris provides clinical leadership across St Vincent’s and supports its strategic ambition to expand care in the home and through virtual and digitally enabled models whilst helping to ensure we continue to deliver high quality and safe care across all services.
