Dr Karen Magraith BMBS FRACGP is a GP in Hobart. She is a past president of the Australasian Menopause Society. She is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Tasmania, and a committee member of the Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee for Health Bones Australia. Dr Magraith was also the former president of the Australasian Menopause Society with a longstanding interest in women’s health. Dr Magraith recognises that most menopause medicine occurs in general practice, where the she is in a unique position to manage the medical, gynaecological and psychosocial issues in an integrated way.
